Off the Bottle

I am so happy.
We had suck a big weekend being a nice 4 day weekend for jason. We went shopping one day where i got trace a cup with a straw built in. He liked it. and he had been drinking out of other sippeys for a week or so.
one morning he was on the sippey and straw cup more than normal so i just told jason to make the bottle disappear. It has been two days and two nights with only a few meltdowns but relativly productive without the bottle!
we did it ! IT IS FINALLY GONE!
i just guess it was all with the timing. he has increased his vocab and his mimicking words and sounds ahas increased a lot.
he only woke once last night for the bottle but soon he wil prolly sleep all night long. this is a big event. and i am glad that it has happened before the baby arrives. trace is such a wonderful little guy.. i love the way he looks at us. his eyes are so aware.
