So nothing much to report about child 2.0 at least not until the 20th when we find the sex.
As for trace it looks like he is approach. A half inch taller. We hope so . It appears that he has his 6 year molars coming through already. Just a little bit on the top.
His fits are to minimum now that we have installed time outs and stern voice discussions. He has a lot more words that he says now. I cannot seem to figure out what he means when he adamatly says doo-dah and gets frustrated when I do not understand. He loves peanutbutter and jelly and it is now referred to as peecookie being sweet like a cookie and a partial recognition of the word peanut. He knows the words waffles and cheese and sometimes asks for them together.
He knows he wants to go outside and tells me when he wants to go. He will say shoeson (shoes on) and outside. And if we dress him he then gets all the doors shut to go out (because we shut them for the dog not to have access to carpeting) and he turns off the TV (something that daddy says that not even mommy does)
he knows his playhouse as "Doors"
He uses a pretend phone and refers to it as phone and answers it "yehwo"
When he plays with his toys he basically organizes the, He lines up cars in parades. He uses number tiles (rumikube domino like tiles) and he sorts them while counting outloud in a 1-10 fashion sometimes using Spanish numbers.
his cars get lined up facing the same way in a bumper to bumper parade.
He can play roll the ball now. He also knocks on doors for entrance when closed. He also calls for his father "daddy-r you" (daddy where are you )
he is constantly measuring and counting with some numbers on the tape. In fact that is the first activity he did this morning.
He recites lines to movies and sings along with songs from movies and some commercials basically mimicking the words and notes.
He sleeps with a cuddle puppy every night and plays many different things with it. He recognizes some animals and watches America's funniest animals and laughs out loud. It seems to be his favorite show.
He recognizes my tummy as BABY but I am not sure if he totally understands. He with rub my belly and give it "zerberts" and say baby while pointing . He knows pictures of babies and every time he sees one he acknowledges the word baby.
He plays with money. We give him our change and he says "money" and plays with it sorting it and putting it in different toys and different containers.
He has bruises all over from all the rough playing he does constantly crawling on the wood floor and falling and jumping off of anything he can climb only to laugh at small boo boo's and cry just a tiny bit with larger injuries. It seems sometimes he is fearless.
It seems he has something new every day that impresses me.
