Trace is amazing once again. He now has the ability to signal by not or shake of the head. when i ask him what he wants and go off on a list he will answer. It is a small mile stone but it is a good one. it seems like he will be growing again. He is eating and sleeping a lot.

As for dannon he is moving more than trace did. crazy!
i am having sleepless nights and lots of belly and pelvic pain. Not to mention i have the worst allergies right now. I refuse to take anything during the day but will take benadryl for sleeping because that is necessary. We have less than 10 weeks until he comes and we still have not done his room :(
we are going to focus on that this weekend hopefully.
as for trace's room it does get clean!

Future firefighter?

SO we went to trace's first OFD family event. Loved it so much he did not nap all day and totally crashed the night of.
He played with the other kids and he swam in the port-a-tank with the other kids which was a great thing because we thought he had a fear of water but seems to get side tracked from it when there are other kids around. the day wasn't with out him throwing his usual tantrums from sleep dep., but it still was so much fun.
Yesterday was the first day he got to go to a fire scene. A house fire came and i was more than excited to actually take photos for the first time in a while. I took trace and he became all excited when he had seen the first fire trcuk. saying mama firetruck!
then when we first had seen the scene he ran up to the port-a-tank trying to undress to get in. He settled with playing in a puddle of foamy water on the sidewalk. He was so excited to be there. He crashed not too much later when we got home. then we wend shopping and he was a great little boy. He makes me smile so much.
In his development he is getting better at repeating words in a full manner instead of his own way. he is now saying two and three words together so it is some progress. We are so proud of him. Potty training is still on hold but hopefully that will come as his understanding of language increases.

Not much to post

Not much to sat but Trace is having night time issues. We need to get things adjusted. But that is something we just need to tough out and do.
He has such a wonderful imagination now. He likes to play with different things in ways one can only imagine what is going through his little mind.
We have not been pressuring on the potty. He needs to get to the point of understanding a little more for a rewards program to take place. I am not too concerned.
his favorite cartoon is spongebob and he will even recite things from it. It is too funny.
he is getting real good at counting. He has understanding of number progressions and will count to 10 with ease if he takes his time.
He knows some of the alphabet. Will repeat if coaxed, and will say several letters on his own in the correct order. It is nice to hear him have some progress.
he knows certain things like shoes and socks, he knows to give me a kiss before he leaves with daddy, he knows how to ask for things and he can make small sentances now.

as for dannon.
last appointment was great. The placenta moved away from the cervix.
no word on the glucose test so that should be fine.
dannon looks active and it does not seem like he has any issues. Time is coming close.
I am contracting like crazy so it is driving me nuts! Daemon will kick me just as hard if not harder than trace used to . There will be times where he will kick for more than hours straight. VERY active. I can see feet moving and his head moving across my belly and he is not shy to make my tummy look lopsided by balling up in a section that is not in the center of my belly.
I have been doing real good on my weight. I am almost 29 weeks and I am 154. So only 9 lbs gained. This will be good for me to have weight loss after the pregnancy .. It might even counter act the post partum depression. That is what made me real depressed last time. I had gained a lot of weight without caring until I gave birth and it did not come off. It made me real sad and I did not think it would ever. Now 9 lbs could just be the weight of baby and fluid at the time of birth . After that .. Breastfeeding will possibly help kickstart some metabolism. Then we can start some spring and summer activities as a family to help.
trace is just so special. I am totally in love with him and I cannot wait until I have another little boy to love. I just hope I can help them love eachother as much as their father and I love them. That is our main goal, to be a close knit family that we had always wanted when we were younger. And this is kinda cool too because both Jason and I wanted brothers when we were younger and so we can live this vicariously through our children..

Trace and potty time

Update on the potty training. For the past few days he has been going to the potty on his own. Without saying a word he goes into the bathroom.. finds a way to reach the lights, takes off his diaper and sits on the potty. A lot of the times he goes but a few times it had been too late. I guess he is a self taught kid. I have showed him what he is suppose to do now it is up to him to learn the rest of the way. If i pressure him too much then it is not on his terms and he will take longer to get results.
Last night was a first. He got up an hour or so after bedtime and said he had to potty. Jason took him to the potty and he did go. It was a nice thing he had told us. We think he is getting the idea and just learning about what the signal of a full bladder is.
He also os constructing more words and more sentances . it is awesome

Child 2.0

the namming is here. We have chosen Dannon Tyler
Dannon was just a name that sounds right. It stuck in our minds. Jason had chosen it. And Tyler is the name of one of our favorite songs.
Trace is growing and thriving well.
He is doing good even though he has had to endure an emotional time in our families' life. I will not go into detail but i feel sorry for what had happened. I know this will not affect him in a negative way. It might be a great thing for him in time, but he does not need to see something happen to his parents like what had just happened. he is confused but ok.
He playes well.
He is doing great with his new cousin. She is still a newborn and he fusses so much over her. he is such a gentle creature when it comes to her. he is affectionate to her.
this makes me feel better. makes me feel like he will be the most wonderful brother.
Jason is trying to teach him now that his mommy is important. never leave the house without kissing mommy, always say please and thank you. Mommy is a gentle person and not to roughhouse with a girl.
it is a great lesson to learn. and it saves me. i will be in the house with three men and i need the smallest things that remind me that i am of the fair sex.
his sleeping habbits are somewhat better now so that is nice.
we have an appointment tomorrow for Dannon. I hope it goes well considering i have been rather ill. basically stressed beyind belief and bedridden from stress and illness.
i have lost weight and have become to the pint where i am not eating like i should. some days i go a long time without food ony because it makes me ill to eat. I had a bought of severe dehydration that i am trying to overcome.
we will see what the doctor says tomorrow.

Trace amazing again-and new height

Well he finally figured out door knobs a few days ago.. has not utalized this knowledge since he knows that i come running when he knocks on the door. Oh well he will get there in time. He did figure this out when i had the door shut for a shower. He came right in.
Aslo last night was the first night he slep through the night. YAY! i just kepted on popping into his room at unexpected times through the first two hours of bedtime and tld him to et back in bed until eventually he got bored and fell asleep.
Today he did look a ittle slimmer in the legs so i measured him.
He is now a whopping 34.75 "
he is now around the 50th percentile. which is good. he is about average.

Trace being cute and smart!

He is so cute and so smart!
He was cute this morning becase the first thing he did when he got up was walk around the house looking and asking for daddy. He came up to me and asked where's daddy.. I told him daddy was at work. He dropped his head and looked sad, then he looked up with a smile and said Daddy firefighter. it was like he thinks and takes pleasure that when daddy is not here he is out being a firefighter. Even though daddy was at his day job it still was cute. I will wait a while until i tell him daddy is not just a firefighter.
But then today he was getting into all the things he should not be getting into. there are totes of computer and electronic things in the computer room that he was going through. he found a speaker we use for the computer that was put away. after 5 min of looking at it he took it into his room and automatically went to his tv and plugged it into the sound output!
he was amazed when i turned up the volume and the sound was coming from that speaker.
